If you are considering a room change, the first step is to discuss the situation with your RA. Your RA may be able to help you and your roommate(s) resolve your differences. If, after this discussion, a room change seems desirable, you must speak with your Area Coordinator. The Area Coordinator may recommend a room change to the Assistant Director of Residence and Commuter Life, who, in concert with the Housing Coordinator, must authorize all changes. Please note that room changes are not possible until after the third week of each semester, and then only as space permits. If it is decided that a room change is warranted, the Area Coordinator will provide a room change form. The Assistant Director of Residence and Commuter Life or his or her designee must approve all room changes. Residents may not relocate to a new space until they have received written approval to do so from the Assistant Director of Residence and Commuter Life.
